Every time an important event takes place, there needs to be a form of celebration, at least symbolically. Even social networks and services encourage this by alerts of either birthdays of friends or international special holidays.
With Google being among the most popular search providers, it developed an innovative manner of notifying you when something’s happening around the world. You surely used Google and stumbled upon either a small game or presentation instead of the logo.
Aug 12, 2012 - All the Doodles can be found through the Google Doodles page. For saving any given doodle, I demonstrate my approach using the same.
Google is responsible for these doodles. They are all kept in an archive to search, replay, or revisit your favorite ones, and there are some pretty addictive and extremely fun doodles out there. If your computer does not always benefit from an Internet connection, or you simply want to play specific doodles in a five-minute break, there’s a way to save them for offline use.

Downloading Google’s Doodles
Note: Download and install Mozilla Firefox. One of its features is required every time you want to grab a doodle.
Step 1: Launch Mozilla Firefox and access Google’s Doodle archive page.
Step 2: Search for interactive doodles to make the result more fun.
Step 3: Click it so it gets accessed and placed at the top page.
Step 4: Right-click the doodle and from This Frame menu, choose to Open Frame in a new tab.
Step 5: Copy the new URL and insert it in a blank Internet Explorer page.
Step 6: Once the doodle is ready, click the Gear button in the top right corner.
Step 7: Go to File and choose Save As.
Step 8: Change the file type to Web, Archive, single file (MHT), give it a name and hit the Save button.
