The game also has minor nods to past titles and pop culture allusions which make the games feel totally relevant. While playing the game you will see the characters speak of the Hoenn region. While Game Freak has reminiscence on their side so there is still a swing of new mechanics. So by training your Pokémon can be done outside of battles now. This minor part of this game helps you to dodge soccer balls while concurrently shooting them at giant blown up balloon Pokémon.

They will raise your Pokémon’s base stats like Speed, Attack, and Defense after once completed. It almost feels like deceitful but the edge you get on Gym Leaders is certainly valuable. Still, Super Training is absolutely optional and you can get through the entire game without even touching it. It’s mostly a novelty, except for a few Pokémon that rely on the happiness affinity to level up, like Sylveon. Battles also feel mostly familiar but have a new twist.

It’s still six Pokémon in your party, with only four moves at a time per monster, but now Pokémon has new Hidden Abilities, which can give them a separate edge in battle. For example, the Torchic which is available as a Mystery Gift comes with the Hidden Ability ‘Speed Boost’ which raises its speed after each turn taken. Knowing and utilizing these Hidden Abilities to your advantage will be beneficial to your success. However, if you plan on taking on trainers around the world, Super Training might be mandatory. This amazing game also contains new feature which are Pokémon-Amie, a Nintendogs-lite mode where you can cooperate with any and all of your Pokémon by petting them, feeding them treats and playing three different mini-games with them.

How To Get Pokegen Pokemon in X & Y WITHOUT Wifi

With the DS wifi servers shutting down, I decided to make a post about how to still get pokegen, pokedit, pokesav, legal, hacked etc pokemon into Pokemon X and Y. Pokegen pokemon are pokemon that are considered legal meaning they ARE hacked but still conform to the rules of the game. They don't have impossible move sets (Pikachu with Earthquake), their ivs and evs don't go over the maximum limit (Having 510 Attack Evs) and they don't come in impossible pokeballs (Charmander in a lureball). Basically, the game considers them real, even though they have perfect IVs and great EV stats.

Two things to know before you continue reading

• I won't go into too much detail on the technicals. This guide is more for people who already get the gist of how to make pokegen Pokemon and what not.

• This may cost you some money. You most likely have most of these things but there are 2 things that you may not have and may need to buy or borrow in order to do this

Things you will need

• At least one 3DS

• A NDS OR another 3DS

• A copy of Pokemon X or Y (Digital or Physical copy. Does not matter which)

• A copy of Pokemon Black, White, Black 2 OR White 2

• Pokemon Bank and Transfer

• A R4 Flashcart for NDS Games (The one I personally use bit.ly/1iKhXsc)

• A Computer

Step 1 - Find a Rom of Pokemon Black, White, Black 2 OR White 2

Make sure that the rom is compatible with your R4. You will need some sort of save file to work with so play up until you can trade pokemon. You can also find a completed save file to make things easier. No, I will not link you to a rom or save file. Thats what google is for.

If you are using an emulator you can most likely use that rom and save file. If not, put the rom onto your flashcart (using a micro SD card), play the game a bit then put the rom and save file onto your computer.

Step 2 - Download PokeGen

Once you have downloaded it, open it and the click File -> Open and find your save file

Step 3 - Create your PokeGen pokemon

You can create them in pokegen itself or go to pokedit (The old form, not the new beta), make it there then download it and then drag and drop it into pokegen. The files should end with .pkm. Make sure everything is legal and proper so it transfers.

Step 4 - Replace your save file

Once done creating and adding all the pokemon you want, click File -> Save [save file]. This will rewrite your save file. If it doesnt, save files as something else. you may need to rename it or delete the old save file and then replace the save file. But make sure that the new save file has the EXACT same name as the old one. Make sure that the rom and save file are on your micro SD card and eject it.

If the game opens but there is no continue option and only says to start a new game, you might have to convert the save file using this http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php or make sure the name is the same as the rom (sometimes you have to include .nds in the name of the save file ie Pokemon Black.nds.sav).

Step 5 - Trade

On the 3DS with Pokemon Bank, put in your real cartridge of Pokemon BW/2. On the other 3DS or DS, use the R4 and start playing your rom of Pokemon BW/2. Trade your pokegen pokemon from your R4 to your real copy of Pokemon BW/2.

Step 6 - Transfer to Pokemon Bank

If everything has worked properly, you should be able to transfer the pokemon from BW/2 onto your Pokemon Bank.

And that it. With no more NDS wifi, this is really the only way to get legal pokemon onto XY until its netcoding is broken.

Honestly, this process is not that hard. Its just more time consuming.
